After busting out a butt-ton of awesome cards lately, I hit a wall in my creativity. I kept looking at stamp sets I loved and wanted to use, sometimes even stamping some of them out at random, but nothin’ doin’. I had zero ideas.
I had stamped the Ew, David sentiment from the stamp set of the same name by Ink Road. Two days later, I got my Honey Inked Girl set in and wanted to ink it up right away. I grabbed the random “scrap” piece of cardstock with Ew, David and, once Honey was down, I realized that I had accidentally created something amazing!
I immediately stamped Honey on a full-stick post-it note and fussy cut her out to use as a mask. Using a cloud stencil by My Favorite Things and a rainbow array of Catherine Pooler inks, I blended this gorgeous background.
When coloring Honey, I was so glad to grab a handful of beautiful, rich browns and greys along with the bright blue for her dress.
A couple flat backed glass bubble drops were the finishing touch in this little masterpiece!
