A Trip to Stars Hollow

I have LOVED the show Gilmore Girls for years and watched the whole thing beginning to end at least 5 or 6 times. So when I found the Ink Road Stamps Stars Hollow stamp set, I couldn’t resist!

I wanted to keep it simple, so I took a full 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of kraft paper and arranged a selection of the images from the stamp set on a large stamp block. Using VersaMark Watermark ink, I stamped the group of images at a variety of angles to fill up the entire page. I did take one or two of the small stamps to fill in big open spaces at the end as well.

I cut the sheet into quarters to form the backgrounds for each of the cards.

For two of them, I stamped the image and sentiments I wanted in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the images with Copic Markers. The other two only had sentiments stamped, so I cut the background down just a smidge and mounted them to a rainbow cardstock backing.

They were each finished off by being mounted to card bases made with Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb.
