Wait… no… not me! We have one Bean and we’re stickin’ to it!
I made this cute card to go with a baby shower gift for a good friend of mine as she was expecting her first (and only) kiddo.
I started with the Lawn Fawn Little Bundle stamps and dies as well as the Lawn Fawn Loads of Love stamps and dies, stamping everything in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The washing machine, laundry basket, and soap were colored with Copic Markers and the cute little clothes and baby blanket were stamped on a variety of patterned papers before being die cut out.
For my next trick, I wanted the clothes to be “inside” the machine, so I used sharp scissors and cut out the center circle on the washing machine (I would have used a circular die, but didn’t have any in the right size). The clothes were mounted to a backing sheet of paper that I Copic colored to match the edge of the machine window for continuity in the background. Finally, I cut a small square of thin acetate from a package I was discarding and placed that behind the washing machine opening between the machine and the clothes inside.
For the background and setting, I used Lawn Fawn Spring Fling paper, cut two stitched rectangles out with the same die, then cut down the base piece to provide the size floor I was aiming for.
Glue it all together and mount it to a Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb. card base, and you’re home free!
